Sommer Intensive Course: 26 lessons per week in a mini group
Description of Course:
Business before pleasure – if this is what you are looking for, our Mini Group Course is just right for you. It is perfect for those looking for a balance between intensive learning in the morning and mostly free time in the afternoon – leaving you plenty of time to explore Bamberg and its surroundings and take part in our many activities. What’s more, you can be sure of one thing: Bamberg is absolutely lovely in the summer!
Guided tours? Movies? Sports? Or lunch together? In addition to the classroom program, this course includes six practical lessons per week, where you can apply what you have learned in the morning. And you will learn a lot of interesting facts about German culture along the way!
Please allow up to 2 hours for course preparation and homework for your mini group course.
The following are course skill focus areas which may vary according to the course level...

- improvement of pronunciation
- improving your writing
- geography and social science skills
Instruction materials are included in the course fees. Please do not forget to bring a good dictionary (at least 70,000 references) or your smartphone / tablet with a suitable app.
You may also book additional private lessons to make your course more effective!
Course schedule:
Monday through Friday: 9:30 to 13:00 (except Holidays)
- From 4 people 26 x 45 minutes with teacher
- 3 people 21 x 45 minutes with teacher, 5 x 45 minutes guided self-study
- 2 people 13 x 45 minutes with a teacher, 13 x 45 minutes guided self-study
- 1 person 10 x 45 minutes with a teacher, 16 x 45 minutes guided self-study
The level target is achieved in this way over the 6 weeks.
Length of Course:
Maximum flexibility for you! You may register for a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 52 weeks.
Course start:
You can book your course start individually. Based on your placement test you will be placed in the appropriate group. If you don't know any German yet, please choose the start dates with the *asterisk (beginner courses).
Please note:
From 20 July to 24 August, mini-groups with 26 hours per week will take place! This increases the cost during this period by € 70 per week.
