German for priests and other members of the religious community

The work of a pastor involves a lot of verbal communication; counseling, giving liturgies for special occasions, taking confession, participating in parish counsel meetings, working with parish committees, and chatting with parishioners at parish events. In addition to those situations, there are many more which involve written communication skills, like writing sermons, letters and applications, as well as communicating with church administrators.
