Our students once again came from all over the world! From Canada to Australia, from Mexico to Japan – a total of 2024 people from more than 40 countries were our guests.
Our students – numbers that tell stories
Our youngest participant was just 9 years old, our oldest a proud 72 years. The average age was 28, most were between 16 and 38.
On average, our students spent 10 weeks with us – enough time not only to learn German, but also to discover the city, the culture and make new friends.
And the best thing? Our students rate us with an average of 4.8 out of 5 stars – on Google as well as in our internal feedback.
The gender ratio was also absolutely balanced in 2024: 50% men, 50% women – a perfect balance.
Accommodation - living with comfort and charm
Our students have various accommodation options – from a private room in a shared flat to a hotel. Shared flats: Particularly popular! 28% offer en-suite facilities, and with only 1.3 km to the school, this means a relaxed 16-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride.
Host families: A great way to immerse yourself in the language and culture. 63% of our host families even provide their own bathroom. The distance to school? 1.6 km – 20 minutes on foot or 7 minutes by bike.
Hotels: For those who like it even more comfortable - our partner hotels are on average only 650 metres away from TREFFPUNKT.
Our team – experience meets passion
Our 27 instructors – 18 women, 9 men – are between 26 and 73 years old and bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. They speak 8 different native languages, have degrees ranging from diplomas to doctorates and a combined total of over 330 years of teaching experience. An impressive number, isn't it?
More than just German lessons – our cultural programme
With us, learning doesn't end in the classroom! Our cultural programme takes you to Franconian Switzerland, to the market, to the theatre or – typically Franconian – to the beer garden. Even sledging in winter is on the programme. And, of course, German is still spoken!
