This one-week program combines German language learning with a unique cultural experience around Sandkerwa. You don’t just visit the festival – you become part of it.

Your Week in Bamberg
Your days are structured – but never rigid:
Mornings
German lessons in small groups (max. 10 participants)
- 26 lessons per week (45 minutes each)
- Interactive, communicative teaching
- All levels welcome (placement test before arrival)
Afternoons & Evenings
A curated program designed to give you a real connection to the city and its culture:
- Guided city tour of Bamberg (UNESCO World Heritage)
- Dinner in a traditional brewery (including one beer)
- Beer tasting experience with insights into Franconian brewing culture
- Visit to a brewery Museum
- Several visits to Sandkerwa – partly guided, partly on your own
- Final group dinner to close the week
There is always a balance between shared experiences and free time to explore.
