Owners of language schools from all over Germany met in Munich at the invitation of the Fachverband Deutsch als Fremd- und Zweitsprache e.V. (German as a Foreign and Second Language Association), the organisation representing the interests of GFL/German as a second language learners, teachers and institutions, for the conference "Wirtschaften mit DaF" (Business with GFL).
TREFFPUNKT owner Kristina Schimmeyer was there to gain new impulses, but also to exchange ideas and continue networking: "Such industry meetings are very valuable for our language institute. We benefit from the experiences of others and can pass on our experiences, which may help someone else in a similar situation." The economic situation and the after-effects of the coronavirus crisis are key issues for the management of language institutes. This makes the input from such a specific conference all the more valuable.
