Description of course:
Opt for this course if you would like a balance between intensive instruction in the morning and free time in the afternoon.
This course will allow you enough time to visit Bamberg, the beautiful surroundings and neighbouring towns and to participate in all our afternoon and evening activities.
Additionally, to the lessons in class this course also includes 6 practice lessons per week in which you will have a lot of opportunities to become familiar with the German culture through guided tours, movies, common lunch or during sports activities.
The following are skill focus areas of the course which may vary according to course level:
- training and development of communicative abilities
- improvement of pronunciation
- development of listening and reading skills
- solid grammar
- improving your writing
- geography and social science skills
According to your individual wishes, this course can be extended to one-to-one tuition.
Instruction materials are included in the course fees. Please do not forget to bring a good dictionary (at least 70,000 references) or your smartphone / tablet with a suitable app.
Allow 2 hours selfstudy for course preparation and homework.
Monday through Friday: 9:30 am to 13:00 pm (except holidays)
Length of course:
You may register for a minimum of 1, and a maximum of 52 weeks. Please note that if you choose to stay for one week you can only do so in a hotel or private holiday apartment. Long-term students may also take advantage of a course break to travel around.
Beginning of course:
You can book your course start individually. Based on your placement test you will be placed in the appropriate group. If you don't know any German yet, please choose the start dates with the *asterisk (beginner courses).
